Huub Core Short-Sleeve Jersey Review

Huub Core Short-Sleeve Jersey.

What they say: Will deliver in every aspect, from comfort and paneling to fit.

What we say: Based in Derby, HUUB is a British brand on a mission to produce world-class performance apparel. It works with elite-level athletes such as the Brownlee brothers to make sportswear that’s designed to deliver medals and records, and that pedigree is very much in evidence here.

Part of HUUB’s Core range, this is made from a silky, breathable featherweight polyester with mesh underarm panels to further help with thermoregulation. Three pockets feature to the rear, plus a secure one with a reflective zipper.

A full-length zip can be found at the front and features a HUUB cam lock. This mechanism sees the zip locking shut when the puller’s flicked down, and unlocked when it’s flicked up, allowing you to simply pull the jersey open without the need to unzip it.

The jersey also features what HUUB calls Arms Neutral sleeves-a design lick they’ve nicked from their wet suits that enhances the body position most held during an activity. In this case, it means the sleeves are cut in an ‘arms-forward’ position to reduce fabric tension on the body. Available in sizes XS-XXL.

Conclusion: If chasing Strava segments is on your summer to-do list, then this jersey will help your quest!
