Men’s Zero Weight Pro Jacket Review

Men's Zero Weight Pro jacket

What they say: When the wind is howling bring along this windproof Zero weight jacket.

What we say: ODLO is a Norwegian apparel maker that’s been making roughty-toughty outdoor-sports clothing since 1946. So, we asked them for their take on something that might work if you fancy taking your wheels off-road onto the gravel or the trails. And this is what they sent us.

Made from 100% Polyamide with a 100% Polyester liner, it offers some water resistance, excellent wind resistance and a high degree of breathability, thanks in part to mesh panels under each sleeve and laser-cut holes on the back. Elasticated cuffs, a drawstring hem, and a storm flap all help to keep the elements out, too, and it even has an adjustable hood should you need it.

In many ways, it looks like a conventional anorak, albeit an incredibly light weight one at just 130g. Although don’t be fooled into thinking it’s flimsy. It’s been specifically designed to be worn in tough terrain and the material it’s made from has a high tear and abrasion resistance. Meaning it’ll withstand damage if it gets snagged on something or you take a tumble. Available in nine colors, in sizes XS-L.

Conclusion: A good choice if you’re gravel grinding or bike packing in windy or showery conditions.
