Bose Soundsport Free Wireless Headphones – Review

Bose Soundsport Free Wireless Headphones

What they say: Get clear, powerful sound from our first truly wireless in-ear headphones.

Fitting/use: Clings to the outer surface of your ear via a super-soft rubber flange rather than plugging directly into the ear canal. The result is comfortable and surprisingly stable-these passed our head banging test with ease. Pairing with your smart device is simple via buttons on the right- hand earphone which you can also use to control volume and track selection as well as answering calls and accessing Siri etc.

Sound: Provides clear, precise, rich audio, making these great for turbo sessions, but definitely not for busy commutes.

Battery life: Comes with a durable case which doubles as a USB charging unit that provides a full top-up within two hours. We found battery life came in at a little under the claimed full five hours.

Other features: A free-to- download app includes a ‘find my buds’ function with a map showing your headphones’ last Bluetooth-paired location-it’ll even get them to let out a loud beep so you’ll be able to locate them if they end up down the back of the sofa. They’re IPX4 rated, too, so water-resistant enough for sweat and downpours.

Conclusion: Fitting took a little getting used to and initially felt a bit cumbersome, but once on board worked a treat.
