What we say: Four modes offer high and low constant light, whilst the flashing mode is backed up with our favored daylight option that combines the two. These are ideal, then, for both daylight and street riding. Maximum power gives just one hour of use, while its lowest setting gets you eight hours, or 20 hours on flash mode.
The Volt 400 is paired with the Rapid Mini which comprises three LEDs and has four modes to give between three and 30 hours of burn time, with up to 25 lumens output. Both are mounted via silicon bands, with the rear light including a rubber wedge.
Cateye’s reputation is excellent and this combo certainly looks to build on that.
