It’s funny how time mellows opinion. When Catlike launched the Whisper a while back the multi-vent style was considered wild and outlandish, now it’s way more accepted. Catlike offer seven color options including black, black/blue, black/yellow, black/red, white, white/red and even a World Champ’s version if you’re feeling especially fit.
Our medium helmet weighs 250g and features a whopping 39 vents, which, given the Whisper’s Spanish origins and that particular country’s notorious summer heat, perhaps shouldn’t be a surprise. Updated in 2013 with a new adjustment system this can be affixed in five different ways for a truly secure fit. Catlike offers a more compact set of sizes than others here and fields three options, a small for heads from 54-56 cm, a medium for 56-58 cm and a large for 58-61 cm.
