What they say: Whenever your day takes you, and whatever your activity, it won’t get in the way of enjoying sports, music and calls.
Fitting/use: Fit is via earbuds that wedge directly into the ear canal. Despite this, they’re light enough to be unobtrusive and stayed firmly put when we subjected to them to a vigorous Spinal Tap-style head shake. Pairing the device with your smart device is full proof-simply find the Jabra on your Bluetooth settings and enable it.
Sound: Quality is excellent and is further improved by a choice of (supplied) earbud inserts to suit your personal taste. Volume is then controlled by pressing either up or down on the switch on your left- hand earbud. Sound can be adjusted, too, to lock the world out or allow ambient noise in by use of the accompanying app.
Battery life: It takes around 15 hours to charge these using the supplied USB-charger (which comes in the form of an attractive although rather fiddly-to- open storage case. The headphones then work for an impressive five hours on full charge.
Other features: The free-to-download Jabra companion app is rich in features that allow you to operate these headphones using voice-assist systems, including Amazon’s Electra, to locate it when it’s lost, and crucially to modify how much music makes it into your ears in relation to background noise. The latter makes these genuinely suitable- when setup correctly-for training either inside or outdoors.
Conclusion: Excellent quality, durable and versatile. These come with a two-year sweat and dust warranty, too, which helps to justify the price tag!
