Yet again DHB’s performance range comes up with the goods in the form of Tempo waterproof jacket. Listed as being rated to 20k of waterproofing and 15k of breathability, it’s a 2.5 layer jacket that has fully taped seams to keep the rain out during long rides, as well as sensible under arm vents- a very useful addition in our view.
It has a well-proportioned cut, with only the forearms having more space than we’d want. At the rear there’s a pull cord in the dropped tail to allow adjustment and give plenty of coverage against rear wheel spray.
Ranged in five sizes, Tempo’s cut is more oriented towards smaller riders. At 238g for our large size it’s another jacket that will fit in a jersey pocket with some careful folding.
The fit could be refined, but this represents superb value and performance, as you’d expect from DHB.
