What they say: Perfect for cool weather rides when you want a touch of extra warmth under your helmet without any bulk.
What we say: Made from a highly breathable material, that’s also fleece lined for extra comfort, this offering from Pearl Izumi does a great job of protecting the ears from wind chill, while being thin and lightweight enough to fit under your helmet with ease.
It has what its makers call a ‘ponytail port’ at the back for riders with longer hair, as well as reflective details on the back and, in the form of the logo on the front left-hand side. Comes in two colors black and yellow and one size that’s intended to fit all. With plenty of stretching the material, our tester was impressed with the high levels of comfort it affords.
A good, comfy garment that kept ears warm on cold-weather commutes just above freezing.
